Since the start of the whole Recess Revolution movement, we have had all sorts of responses; most of it was excited, crazy, bold and courageous young people stepping up to say I’m on for it! Well of course we also have had many mixed feelings, doubts and “crazy” people saying all kinds of things about the whole movement and how it’s being run, done or organized.

Since its inception it was never an Acts Church Production, Pastor was (and still is) humbled enough to have said it a million times across Malaysia that it’s a vision of the Holy Spirit, at times I wonder wah so bold to say it’s the vision of the holy spirit, but guess what talk is cheap actions speak louder than words, and I can only say it has been a great one year and becoming greater, besides remembering the year, we want to say that everything that has happen is the work of the Holy Spirit, if it isn’t I don’t know how coincidental, the word coincidence mean.

Recess Revolution = Being a Christian in school. Simple isn’t it? Why complicate things? Our goal is to get teens, schooling people excited about the fact that, if our friends can’t come to church let’s bring church to them. It’s about living out the times and days of the church of Acts and just even blessing our surroundings and giving people around us the chance to experience what it is like to have Jesus in their lives. Why do we need to do this? Well we all know the Christian walk can some time be a lonely one, so we are trying our best with the limited resources to do what a multi millionaire church is suppose to do in compiling all the testimonies, resources, ideas and experiences so that young believers can also take this ideas and go out and share and be a blessing, so that people can draw strength and courage from the testimony and to tell these teens that loving Jesus and really shining for him isn’t a boring thing.

I have had many experiences leading or sharing with CFs and teen leaders, it scares me to think that some days we are all out, some days we are all cold, some days we are all hot, some days we just can’t be bothered. If only human beings understood that our main goal in life is to serve Jesus and to give our everything to Him, going to school would be a mission trip, going to tuition would be a rally; going to recess would be an altar call! I mean don’t we love to use all these big words? So yeah, lets move our faith, body, mind and soul and start being that Christian who would impact our schools!

The last negative comment I heard about Recess Revolution was, erm I don’t see the point in doing RR, then dude let me tell you one thing! I don’t see the point in your calling yourself a Christian either =) why? Simple, its not about doing doing doing, its about making it intentional weekly and hopefully becoming a lifestyle, to go out and DO THE VERY THING JESUS ASKED U TO DO! So why don’t you take your denominational ego, doctrinal correction theories and super wanna be attitudes and put them aside and start living like the songs we sing =)

Take take take it all? Take what all?
